Don't boys love trucks of all kinds---especially the big ones with all the horns, lights and sirens? In our box of superhero costumes we happen to have two fireman outfits so, I dressed up the boys and off we went to our local Police/Fire-Station. The boys each colored pictures to give to the fireman, we stopped at the store for ice-cream treats to give them. I thought this was a great opportunity for my little ones to do something nice for those who serve in our community, and of course they had a fun time doing it. They took the boys on a tour the Fire-House, Ambulance and Fire Truck and they absolutely loved it!!!! This fun little outing didn't take much time or preparation. Tonia and I both enjoy being involved in our community and truly believe that little acts of kindness go along way. So, take your boys on to your local fire station, police station, senior citizens center, anywhere in your community and do something nice for someone else.
