Seriously, these are life threatening but worth it!! They are covered in thorns and also the best orange berries. When I saw them on the street corner I new they had to come to my house for my fall decor. So Marla and I hit the Road with clippers in hand risking our lives for decor!!! We had to laugh because it is really right on a busy corner and if any of our friends saw us they would know exactly what we were up too!!! This wasn't my first offense, I will knock on any one's door in search of FABULOUS branches for my house. They just have to look overgrown and people are more than willing to let you cut away. The strange looks are just part of the fun. Leave your kids at home though, they are mortified by such a mother!!!!!
Have fun cutting, think out of the box!!!!!!

That's hilarious! But they are really pretty and I would do the exact same thing. I've been known to take sand from our park for my beach themed apothocary jars. And I'm sure I looked just as crazy.
These are so pretty - I don't blame you for "stealing" them. I just moved to Utah from AZ and have never seen leaves change colors before - last week we were miniature golfing and I plucked many, many leaves and they are now adorning my fireplace mantle :)
What we will do to decorate! You two make me laugh.
YOu beat me to the punch!! I too love to trip other peoples bushes for decor! Those are beautiful though and I'm glad you 2 lived thru it!
You two crack me up, you are the best. Those look beautiful.
I have to give a big shout out to Alexa and Sandy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I just discovered you gals and I am in love with your site! So wish you lived in sunny Arizona so I could pick your brains OFTEN! I own a gourmet cupcake biz and after seeing your photo with the crown on the cupcake I think you have spawned a few FANTASTIC ideas for me (THANK YOU!)

That's gorgeous!
*Smile* Hmmm, these bushes don’t happen to be on the corner of 1000 and Antelope do they?
